Maple Palette 2027
Miniature painting gets the art-show treatment.
A Canadian competition, workshop day, vendor gathering, and creative hobby event for painters who want their work to feel polished, social, and alive.
Start here
A polished art competition without losing the fun of a hobby day.
Maple Palette 2027 is official. Date, venue, and host city are still being finalized, but the event is being planned as a polished art-forward miniature painting gathering with competition, workshops, hobby events, vendors, and community at the centre.
Built by painters, for painters — serious enough for display artists, welcoming enough for your first competition.

The competition wall
Make the contest table feel like an exhibition.
Maple Palette’s open-format competition is designed around personal growth, strong judging, and a positive community atmosphere. Artists bring work they are proud of and receive recognition through medals, trophies, sponsor prizing, People’s Choice, and Best in Show.
Hobby energy
Not just a room full of display cases.
Timed painting, team colour challenges, big community projects, and kitbashing turn the day into something visitors participate in, not just observe.
Workshops
Leave with better tools, not just more photos.
Workshops are positioned as a major reason to attend and are built as editable entries for easy annual updates.
The archive is the proof
Past years should sell the next one.
The website keeps public Google Drive archives accessible while using curated images on-site for speed, SEO, and visual impact.
